The day in the life of a mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend living with Multiple Sclerosis.
Welcome to my world!
Here is where I will talk/vent about my MS and any and all things that make me go hmmmm or just piss me off.
My way of getting it out, to be able to let it go and move on. It is also a place to share the good things that go on in my life. Somehow, no matter how bad it gets, and it can get very bad
, I always manage to 'Make it through the rain'!
Stay tuned!

Just dropping in to see how you're feeling and how things are going.
Hope you have a great day and a great week, my friend.
So great to see you!
Thanks for coming by earlier; I was wondering how you were doing!
Are you doing okay?!
*hugs*
I have looked into my crystal ball and it says Tracy MUST have a good weekend and fart in the face of fate!
Hope all is well in your world!! Take care!
Thanks for the tag! I was really happy to finally meet you at BlogStar, too!
As for SAG, well, I suppose it's not called "S.A.G." for nothing, right?
LMAO!
How'd ya get a graphic up there anyhow Mz Tech Ed! What would I do without your pc help anyhow?! lmbo!
>See! ha ha ha!
I was going to start a journal but kinda feared I may get fitted for a pecial jacket....... Ya know what I mean?
's girls!
I'm telling you, it is uplifting!! lolamers luv back at ya!!
So, ok, they will bring the iBot to me, but...I still have to go the hour away to be evaluated to use it? What, do you need a friggen license to drive this thing? And this 'evaluation' is not included in the chair's price. It is an out-of-pocket expense!
Next they will want my first born...hmmmm
! This is becoming a real pain in the arse!
I cannot wait to get my new renaissance clothing (above link) So, I purchased the black fantasy dress for a halloween costume. I am getting a velvet crooked witches hat, and then going to had black flowers and lace to that. Will be adding some gothic jewelry and my suede booties and 'poof' I'm a witch!!
Then looking at more of her things I bought the black cincher and a red jagged skirt. So I can also have a pirate type outfit using the dress.
Then I found a cool white chemise (different store). So now all I need is a long skirt from LoriAnn to make a renaissance outfit. (saving money)
So, in a couple of weeks will be posting some pics. I hope that you will get a good idea of the outfits since I am in a chair. I will sit really tall!!
Blessings and love to all!
CANCELLED!!
So after I do my post and get to feeling good about the iBot test drive...they cancel!!
This is so how my life goes!! lol
But...when we re-schedule they are going to bring the chair to me!! I do not have to go an hour away this time. So, pretty cool!! This is also how my life goes! I am realizing, slowly, that even when things go shitty for me...it actually turns out better. shhhhhhhhhh though as we do not want to say that out loud and jinx it!
Love to all...Blessings

Well I am going to test drive the iBot tomorrow.
I am very nervous and do not know why. This chair will give me back so much of what I have lost. Maybe that is why I am nervous. I feel 'safer' being inside the 4 walls of my room. I have all I need and do not have to look or be a certain way. I can hide...maybe this is why I am unsure of getting the chair. I will be able to leave the safety of my coccoon. I am nervous, scared, and excited all at the same time. Alot may think I am being silly, but when abilities are ripped from you, small things like this chair are an important part of your life and a huge decision.
So. I'll be back after the appt. and let ya know how it went!
Blessings!

She offers gorgeous handmade renaissance/medievel/faire wear clothing at gr8 prices! Trust me, I have been searching for the perfect dress for 2 days. I am new to all this type of clothing, but fell in love with it while searching for a gr8 costume for halloween. When I found all this clothing I knew it is also great for faire (if you participate), parties, or just to have a gorgeous piece of wear. So, if you get a chance, drop by and check her site out. Found her on ebay, and now have the direct link to her store.
Have fun!!!
Blessings!

The dark enveloped the room. She felt for the light switch, turned it once, but no light appeared. Her heart skipped a beat as she screamed throughout the house..."Does this mean I cannot use my Computer? Nooooooooooooooooo"!!!!

That was me when the electric company called to inform me that my 'grid' will be shut down for maintenence from 4 pm tonight to 6:30 am tomorrow morning. OMG, no lights, no a/c, no cable, no coffee maker
, and omg no PC!! What the hell did they do in the old days!!
I went and got a few taps lights and a lil' battery operated lantern and stocked up on batteries. Figured we should have them anyways for when the 'big one' (earthquake), hits us!
Told the girls we are going to cuddle up in bed I am going to read aloud to them, my Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series.
My son said he will have no part of that!! lol
My biggest concern is the food in the fridge. They said it will be ok for the 14 hour period, just do not open the doors at all.
Looks like takeout tonight baby!! lol
Wish us luck!!
Love and Light

So there is this really top of the line wheel-chariot i really want to get. It could change my life...literally! It is called the iBot 4000 Mobility System . It is the coolest thing ever. The only problem is the price $24,000 +
. Check the site and you will see why. It is a wicked cool.
So...my neuro wrote me a scrip for the chair. Now I can go through the scooter store and get a new electric WC and my insurance will pay for it 100%. The problem is that it is the same thing I have now. My insurance company only recognizes 4 wheel chairs that are 'medically' necessary.
They will pay a portion of the iBot. A portion? Well I am on a new mission. lol What is is a medical necessity for one, may be different for others.
To me, quality of life is a medical necessity. This chair can lift you up to reach hard to reach items. Saving you from falling or getting hurt trying to stand and reach them. It will help me to cook as it will raise me up high enough. I do not use my stove as i burned myself once trying to cook. And trying to use the microwave
...can't reach it! As for the stair functions...it would let me be able to actually get into my backyard, go on the grass the gravel and finally get some life back. Don't they realize that 'depression' is a medical condition?? Don't they even care?? No, of course not, all about the money.
So, my mission is to show Pacificare what a 'medical' necessity is. People need to stand up for their rights, especially the disabled. I will speak for all of us that want to have a fulfilled life. Those of us that have so much to give, but cannot due to our limitations.
I am a fighter and will fight for my rights.
I am blessed, as my father and step-mom are going to help me get the chair either way. It is paid up front, then they help you with the insurance. I am also going to get a lift for my car.
My dream is to volunteer at a senior citizens home. So many of our sweet senior citizens are forgotten. I want to let them know that there are people who care.
That is part of my goal. Get the chair that can expand my mobility, the lift to get the chair out, and the hope to get my life back!
So, watch out Pacificare, cause here comes trouble!!
Blessings to all!
Dropping in to say hey. Been in a weird place. Not sad or anything, just in a kind of fog. Cannot seem to get out of this funk. Kind of like...lalalalalalalala
lol
Must go for now...the tinkletorium is calling my name!!
I miss you all!!!
So, today is Ashley's first soccer game. It is gonna be 103, no shade...so I cannot go. It is at 12 noon, hot hot hot!! I am really depressed about this. She is being a trooper, but I know she is upset. I promised her I would make it to her games. Shelby is going to try and video tape it for me. I really flippen hate this MS!! I don't mind it taking away from me alone, but when it takes from my kids...it really pisses me off!!
Then, poor Shelby took a fall at school yesterday and they sent her home. She was a lil pale cause ouch it hurt. I think she left some of her knee on the black top.
And her poor lil knee is so swollen...

All for now!
Blessings

Ashley is now playing soccer as at 12 she feels that along with her 4.0 status, a sport will help her for college. She also plays clarinet! She is driven! lol So at her first practice ever, my hubby volunteered me to make the hair ties for the team. Their colors are orange and black. I made some that I hated, cut the ribbon too short and, well, I just did not like them. So made hubby take me to the fabric store for more ribbon last night. I have them all made, but I feel they need a couple more on each end. My wonderful hubby is going to stop and get some more for me. Their first game is Saturday, so they need to be done by then.
My friend saw them and said I should sell them for halloween for like 4 for a $5.00. Hmm. ok .....NOPE! lol
So, here is a pic of one of them. I will be adding a couple more on each end...
